It was still metrologic summer here on Tuesday, autumn came on Wednesday. What season it is today......you decide...........😉 22cm (9 inches) of snow from the northeast is very rare this time of year. It will melt away in the next few days, so I had to take a test session in the Oval 1957 with newly installed heat exchangers. Defroster works surprisingly well. Car runs well in the snow, will put on winter tires during the coming week for more enjoyable drives during the winter. I really enjoy our different seasons, after all this is Viking territory!😉 Greetings from a snowy southest Sweden.

We still have meteorological summer here in the southeast of Sweden, but today it was very windy and colors are really autumn. It was time for service after our 4000 kms holiday trip in Norway, on the old Oval Beetle, see earlier posts from that trip. Valve adjustment, all exhaust needed a slight adjustment, oil change in engine and gearbox, grease, set ignition, new sparkplugs, rotor, cap, condenser and points. All original Bosch parts. These parts was last changed 12000kms ago. I also mounted red Konis at rear, set at the hardest. Car felt really good after some minor carb adjustments. Hopefully we can have several more nice days for classic car trips this year.😉
