Typ 64 - The ancestor with many names.

Idag en liten fika tur till Duvemåla. Härifrån fick Vilhelm Moberg inspiration till sin bok Utvandrarna. Abba musikalen " Kristina från Duvemåla" är inspirerad från denna miljö. Sommarfiket öppnar snart med goda våfflor och äppelpaj. Staty av Kristina bakom bilen. 356 rullar på bra men kan behöva ett nytt batteri.....detta har hållit i 12 år, ganska bra för ett 6v batteri i gammelbil. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Today a short trip with Swedish fika to the small village of Duvemala. The Porsche Typ 64 was next for a testrun. I have made a muffler insert and it has now been modified to be more open. We needed to check the noise level and see how it effected the intercom system. We drove in total just over 60kms and it seems to work just fine.😉 Car is a joy to drive and it goes so light through the air, great feeling. Did a stop at the local Glass Work Factory here in the southeast of Sweden. They started this factory way back in 1871 and today it is mainly an Art/Design University.
