Typ 64 - The ancestor with many names.

Very nice weather but a little gusty winds today here at the Swedish rivera.😉 Was at the neighbours yesterday evening for food and beer, but most imporantly, adjusting the holley carb in their US car. Today we took a trip in the 356A before the F1 race in Baku. We drove around and took some pics at this old factory, today they make old style furniture in this facility. After that it was time for the classic, coffee and cheese sandwich, always a winner.😘 The 356A runs steady and feels solid, great rewarding car to drive. ------------------------------------------ Väldigt fint väder men lite byiga vindar idag här vid den svenska rivieran.😉 Var hos grannarna igår kväll för mat och öl, men viktigast av allt, justerade Holley-förgasaren i deras US bil. Idag tog vi en tur i 356A innan F1-tävlingen i Baku. Vi körde runt och tog några bilder på den här gamla fabriken, idag tillverkar de gamla möbler i denna anläggning. Just over 20 degrees and beautiful weather today, time for a lunch trip in the old 356A Coupe. This 82kms tour went to Vissefjarda church and the nice sorrundings. Light lunch at the scene, BBQ planned in late afternoon.😘 We stopped at the grocery shop, last pic, the 356A dont look at all like modern cars...............it stands out, great interest........😎

Bra väder idag, dags för lite fika nere vid sjön. -------------------------------------------------- Todays planned working session in the garage was cancelled due to fantastic weather. That is a good reason to shorten the work week.😎 18.5 degrees and blue skies, we decided to take the old Oval 1957 down to the lake for a Swedish fika. Our dog Nitro loves this area and so do we. Working on another brand car than VW/Porsche at the moment. My old tuned SAAB 2 stroker from 1959 needs some attention after a piston failure............................long run on full power....... Take a look at the video of a top speed pass with the old 2 stroker. Turn up the volume!

Igår var Johnny Jo Ge här på besök. Vi tog en tur i Typ 64 och Jo Ge gjorde en kort video. Körde på Smålands Mulsanne raka som finns här i närheten. Jo Ge ligger bakom elsystemet i Typ 64. Han har svart bälte i både svag och starkström. Idag tvätt av Typ 64, detta är tredje gången jag tvättar den sedan den blev klar, den håller sig fräsch länge.

Time to wash the winter dirt of the old VW Oval 1957. The stud tires are cleaned and now ready again for next winter season. It was a great winter and the new soft rubber stud tires worked better than expected. Have been great fun driving on snow and ice this winter.😘

Strålande sol, 15.2 grader varmt, lunch ute med trevligt utsikt. Life is good.😘 Vinterdäcken av, sommardäcken på, våren är här på riktigt. ------------------------ Lovely weather here today, spring has arrived.😘

We took an Easter test drive in the Typ 64 before eggs and others will be consumed.😘 72kms drive to test out the noise level on the newly built exhaust system with equal lenght headers inside a VW original muffler. Its pretty noisy during some type of driving. Will make an end pipe muffler insert and give it a try. I have this on the 356A with Sebring system and it works really well. Please take a look at the videos and listen to the sound. OP Anderson will soon arrive here with his friends to join us for a big Easter lunch. Easter greetings from Sweden.
