Very nice weather but a little gusty winds today here at the Swedish rivera.😉 Was at the neighbours yesterday evening for food and beer, but most imporantly, adjusting the holley carb in their US car. Today we took a trip in the 356A before the F1 race in Baku. We drove around and took some pics at this old factory, today they make old style furniture in this facility. After that it was time for the classic, coffee and cheese sandwich, always a winner.😘 The 356A runs steady and feels solid, great rewarding car to drive. ------------------------------------------ Väldigt fint väder men lite byiga vindar idag här vid den svenska rivieran.😉 Var hos grannarna igår kväll för mat och öl, men viktigast av allt, justerade Holley-förgasaren i deras US bil. Idag tog vi en tur i 356A innan F1-tävlingen i Baku. Vi körde runt och tog några bilder på den här gamla fabriken, idag tillverkar de gamla möbler i denna anläggning. Efter det var det dags för klassikern, kaffe och ostmacka, alltid en vinnare.😘 356A går stadigt och känns solid, mycket givande bil att köra.

It is built in aluminum as the original, three of these cars was built by Reutter 1939-40 and only one of them still exists today. The three cars were intended for a race between Berlin and Rome. Update: April 20, 2022 Milage: 2352kms Today I drove the the Typ 64 for a total of 252kms. Car ran well, lots of gusty winds today, you could see the lorrys moving all over the place. Trip went north and it was also time for a very nice coffee break at Bosse "Bildoktorn" Andersson, Swedish TV and Radio celebrity. I brought sponge cake and he and his lovely wife had fresh coffee and sweets. Bosse have many years experience at SFRO as a technical inspector, this is the organisation that checks and passes all privately built cars and motorcycles here in Sweden. Two hours of nice talks about everything!😘 The church in the background is located in Myresjo and was finished already in year 1150 at this location.💪 Bell tower to the right. Took the last pic when I stopped for sandwich and drink on my way back home. Greetings from Sweden.

Third recreation drive this week in the Typ 64. Nearly 4000 kilometers now in this car since finished. Very nice and mild autumn so far. Todays drive was also mainly on gravel roads, one stretch was newly sufaced and very loose on top, great fun.😎 Here are some pics from today and also a fantastic pic from the early 1940´s. Early KDF Beetles.....and look at the end of the right row...........😉 ------------------------------------------------ Tredje rekreationsresan den här veckan i Typ 64. Nästan 4000 kilometer nu i den här bilen sedan den blev klar. Mycket fin och mild höst än så länge. Dagens körning gick också främst på grusvägar, en sträcka var ny sladdad och väldigt lös på ytan, jättekul.😎 Här är några bilder från idag och även en fantastisk bild från tidigt 1940-tal.
