We took an Easter test drive in the Typ 64 before eggs and others will be consumed.😘 72kms drive to test out the noise level on the newly built exhaust system with equal lenght headers inside a VW original muffler. Its pretty noisy during some type of driving. Will make an end pipe muffler insert and give it a try. I have this on the 356A with Sebring system and it works really well. Please take a look at the videos and listen to the sound. OP Anderson will soon arrive here with his friends to join us for a big Easter lunch. Easter greetings from Sweden.

Here are some more info and pictures from the now 8 years long built since we decided to go ahead. It is built in aluminum as the original, three of these cars was built by Reutter 1939-40 and only one of them still exists today. The three cars were intended for a race between Berlin and Rome. The race was cancelled due to WWII. Pictures shows some stages of the built, models made for testing and the wood buck.

Third recreation drive this week in the Typ 64. Nearly 4000 kilometers now in this car since finished. Very nice and mild autumn so far. Todays drive was also mainly on gravel roads, one stretch was newly sufaced and very loose on top, great fun.😎 Here are some pics from today and also a fantastic pic from the early 1940´s. Early KDF Beetles.....and look at the end of the right row...........😉 ------------------------------------------------ Tredje rekreationsresan den här veckan i Typ 64. Nästan 4000 kilometer nu i den här bilen sedan den blev klar. Mycket fin och mild höst än så länge. Dagens körning gick också främst på grusvägar, en sträcka var ny sladdad och väldigt lös på ytan, jättekul.😎 Här är några bilder från idag och även en fantastisk bild från tidigt 1940-tal.
