Took the Oval into town to collect some shipments that had arrived today. Just a tiny amount of snow, but still great fun. Fantastic bite in these new winter tires that are studded.😘 (Please see earlier posts for details, if interested) I really like driving my cars in the snow, see pic of the Typ 64 from last winter. Please also see pic of the Ice Racing tires I have, these are 3x16". It was some people upset at Samba yesterday.......on driving your cars all year, I love it.😉

Here are some more info and pictures from the now 8 years long built since we decided to go ahead. It is built in aluminum as the original, three of these cars was built by Reutter 1939-40 and only one of them still exists today. The three cars were intended for a race between Berlin and Rome. The race was cancelled due to WWII. Pictures shows some stages of the built, models made for testing and the wood buck.

Third recreation drive this week in the Typ 64. Nearly 4000 kilometers now in this car since finished. Very nice and mild autumn so far. Todays drive was also mainly on gravel roads, one stretch was newly sufaced and very loose on top, great fun.😎 Here are some pics from today and also a fantastic pic from the early 1940´s. Early KDF Beetles.....and look at the end of the right row...........😉 ------------------------------------------------ Tredje rekreationsresan den här veckan i Typ 64. Nästan 4000 kilometer nu i den här bilen sedan den blev klar. Mycket fin och mild höst än så länge. Dagens körning gick också främst på grusvägar, en sträcka var ny sladdad och väldigt lös på ytan, jättekul.😎 Här är några bilder från idag och även en fantastisk bild från tidigt 1940-tal.
