Sun was out, it was time for a run in the Typ 64, January 31, 2023. But when warmed up, the sun was not to be seen......😎 On the return run back home it was light snow in the air........ here in the Swedish Viking territory.😉 Car runs just great, getting used to it really well now after over 4000 kms since it was finished. Since I sometimes drive my cars at night, I am testing with LED lights on the left hand side, see pic. So I can compare, and it is better light with good quality 6 volt LED, not huge but an improvement, no doubt. We have many, many, many small gravel roads built by the timber industry, mostly very good quality and they always end up with a large turning point. Pictures taken on one of those roads. Update: April 20, 2022 Milage: 2352kms Today I drove the the Typ 64 for a total of 252kms. Car ran well, lots of gusty winds today, you could see the lorrys moving all over the place. Trip went north and it was also time for a very nice coffee break at Bosse "Bildoktorn" Andersson, Swedish TV and Radio celebrity. I brought sponge cake and he and his lovely wife had fresh coffee and sweets. Bosse have many years experience at SFRO as a technical inspector, this is the organisation that checks and passes all privately built cars and motorcycles here in Sweden. Two hours of nice talks about everything!😘 The church in the background is located in Myresjo and was finished already in year 1150 at this location.💪 Bell tower to the right. Third recreation drive this week in the Typ 64. Nearly 4000 kilometers now in this car since finished. Very nice and mild autumn so far. Todays drive was also mainly on gravel roads, one stretch was newly sufaced and very loose on top, great fun.😎 Here are some pics from today and also a fantastic pic from the early 1940´s. Early KDF Beetles.....and look at the end of the right row...........😉 ------------------------------------------------ Tredje rekreationsresan den här veckan i Typ 64. Nästan 4000 kilometer nu i den här bilen sedan den blev klar. Mycket fin och mild höst än så länge. Dagens körning gick också främst på grusvägar, en sträcka var ny sladdad och väldigt lös på ytan, jättekul.😎 Här är några bilder från idag och även en fantastisk bild från tidigt 1940-tal.
