This was one year ago, time flies.

Today, January 31, it was sunny with clear skys, no wind, dry roads and low traffic, perfect for a Typ 64 drive on the countryside.😉 Trip took about 2 hours and amongs other things, did a photo session at the old Yo-Yo factory about 15kms from us. Very nice scenery for vintage cars, with their old buildings. Total milage today was 77kms and the Typ 64 have now been driven 1532kms in total. Car runs well and feels really nice on the road, good contact feeling in the steering wheel. 100-120km/h on the mainroads work really well for transportation. The Typ 64 is the ancestor of all rear engine Porsche 356 and 911. Porsche employee Erwin Komenda also designed the Beetle and the Porsche 356/550. Three Typ 64 was build 1939-40, one original car still exists. We have built this Typ 64 recreation during many years and now, November 2021 it is finally ready to drive. ------------------------------------------------ Svenska översatt i dator: Idag den 31 januari var det soligt med klar himmel, ingen vind, torra vägar och låg trafik, perfekt för en Typ 64-tur på landsbygden.😉 Resan tog ca 2 timmar och gjorde bland annat en fotosession på den gamla Yo-Yo fabriken ca 15 km från oss. Mycket trevlig natur för veteranbilar, med sina gamla byggnader. Total körsträcka idag var 77 km och Typ 64 har nu körts 1532 km totalt. Bilen går bra och känns riktigt fin på vägen, bra kontaktkänsla i ratten. 100-120 km/h på huvudvägarna fungerar riktigt bra för transporter.
